TDK Sand is used as a filling material in the safety lining between the working lining and the outer lining of board-type tundish systems.
Olivine sand, which withstands temperatures up to 1760°C, helps absorb the high heat of the working lining, protecting the outer lining and contributing to thermal insulation.
