From the Mine to the Final Product: Controlled Production

At Alfa Olivin, production starts with sourcing the raw material from its own mine site.

After primary crushing, the olivine ore extracted from the quarry is transported to the crushing, screening and sizing plant about 45 kilometres away.

At the plant, the ore is crushed to sizes suited to its end uses, then separated into different grain sizes with vibrating screens and screening systems.

The size distribution is checked according to the intended use, and fractions meeting the defined specifications are separated. Products can be prepared in different grain sizes to customer requirements.
